We had a wonderful community meeting today, focused on our graduating seniors. We'll have a recap of that event next week.

We're getting into the last weeks of school, and students are working hard.

It looks like a glorious weekend, we hope everyone has an opportunity to do something they enjoy.
 
Monday, Sizer School will be closed in observance of Memorial Day, as we remember and honor those who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

There are several important notices in the Flash this week that all community members should read.
 
Seniors (three more weeks!):  Applications for the three Sizer School scholarships are due next Wednesday, May 15.  Sizer PTSO applications are due by 9 am on Friday.  No late (not even 5 minutes) applications are accepted for any of these scholarships. 
 
Eighth grade parents:  There is a field trip coming up.  Permission slips have been given to students, and we are also attaching the slip to this email.  They are due next Wednesday, May 15.

Next Friday night, May 3rd, will be the annual House of the Rising Stars variety show to raise money for the PTSO scholarships for graduating seniors.  Please set the date aside, and we hope to see you there.

April break is here! We hope everyone gets what they need out of vacation, whether it's adventure, rest, or a chance to catch up on work.
