Over the last couple of decades, the personalization of the office changed dramatically... there's an informality people often take for the absence of rules - which it's not.

This coming week, students will start taking the state-wide assessments, PARCC and MCAS. It is especially important that students are here on the day their grade is testing. We have included a schedule on the front page of the Flash for your convenience. Students were given paper copies today also.

We start the testing on Monday with ninth graders. Please be sure your student gets plenty of rest, eats a good breakfast before school, brings a clear bottle of water, and has something to read if they finish testing early.
The calendar says it’s spring…let’s hope Mother Nature has a calendar!

Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you all on Monday.

“When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.”

Tonight is the first Lip Synch Battle! It starts at 5:00 pm, and features both students and staff emulating some of their favorite singers. There is a suggested donation of $3 per person, and we can’t wait for it to start! There will be refreshments available, and all proceeds from the event go directly to the tenth grade NYC trip.

The front page of the Flash has a message from Ms. May and Mr. Montesion, with important reminders about use of electronics in school. It is important for all family members to read and understand the expectations for behavior in our school community. This letter was sent home with all Div. I students yesterday.

The snow is starting to melt, and the sun is shining longer in the day. Have a great weekend, and hopefully we’ll see you in a few hours for the lip synch battle!

“It's easy to get sidetracked with technology, and that is the danger, but ultimately you have to see what works with the music and what doesn't. In a lot of cases, less is more. In most cases, less is more.”

-Herbie Hancock
