Area residents helped Sizer School win week 9 of the Enterprise Bank 20 Weeks of Giving program. Follow the link below to see the announcement and a very nice video about us!
We cannot stop the winter or the summer from coming. We cannot stop the spring or the fall or make them other than they are. They are gifts from the universe that we cannot refuse. But we can choose what we will contribute to life when each arrives.
Some men give up their designs when they have almost reached the goal; while others, on the contrary, obtain a victory by exerting, at the last moment, more vigorous efforts than ever before.
We hope everyone is having an excellent Friday! If you’d like to top it off in the best way possible, come to SiTA (Sizer Theatre Arts)presentation of two one act plays tonight. Tonight’s performance starts at 7:00 p.m. Can’t make it tonight? Then join them tomorrow night at 7:00, right here at school. Adult tickets are $7, and students are only $3.
If you’re looking for something to do during the day tomorrow, come visit Team Intertwingularity at the Greater Gardner Relay For Life at Mount Wachusett Community College. There are lots of fun fundraisers going on there during the event, and a tent full of raffle baskets. If you want to come say hi, and maybe play a game of cribbage, we are at campsite 9.
Please remember that this coming Wednesday, June 17, is a half-day for students. Dismissal will be at noon, and there will be no supervision available for students.
Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you back here on Monday
“The most profound things are inexpressible.”
We had a wonderful graduation ceremony last night, the first one in this beautiful gift of a building. The atrium was shining, peace lilies lined the staircase, and the gym was staged so that the graduating class could be seen by all. Afterwards we shared refreshments, some of which were baked right here in our own kitchen! Thank you to everyone who came and helped celebrate the graduating class of 2015. We wish them all the best.
Please remember that high school students will be taking MCAS science tests on Monday and Tuesday, and Wednesday is a half-day.
Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you on Monday.
