Follow the path of the unsafe, independent thinker. Expose your ideas to the danger of controversy. Speak your mind and fear less the label of 'crackpot' than the stigma of conformity.
-Thomas J. Watson
Welcome to the long weekend!
Please go over the Flash with your student(s) to make sure they are aware of upcoming deadlines and opportunities.
We hope everyone has a warm, safe, and fun weekend, and we’ll see you on Tuesday!
“If you do not ask the right questions, you do not get the right answers. A question asked in the right way often points to its own answer. Asking questions is the A-B-C of diagnosis. Only the inquiring mind solves problems.”
Welcome back, and we hope everyone was able to stay safely warm these last few days. Students and staff have hit the ground running in the new year, as we head into the last few weeks of the semester.
Check the Flash for news and information. We’d love to see some of our students and families at the basketball games!
Reminder: Next Wednesday, January 14, is a half-day for students. Dismissal is at noon, please make sure your student has arrangements for transportation as there is no supervision available after dismissal.
Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you on Monday.

“Literature is where I go to explore the highest and lowest places in human society and in the human spirit, where I hope to find not absolute truth but the truth of the tale, of the imagination and of the heart.” -Salman Rushdie
In a few minutes we’ll be heading to community meeting, after visiting with a number of alumni who came to talk with our students about life beyond high school. It was wonderful to welcome these familiar faces home into this new building.
We have two weeks of break from classes ahead of us. We wish everyone a healthy, safe, and joyful time. We will miss you, but are looking forward to coming back on Monday, January 5th, recharged and ready to do the work ahead of us to get smarter than ever before!
Happy New Year, and we’ll see you in 2015!
