Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly?
-Frida Kahlo

Congratulations to our seniors, who finished their last day of classes today.  We had a wonderful community meeting this afternoon in the gym, filled with goofiness, sweetness, serious business, and joy.  Graduation is next Thursday evening in the Sizer School gym, and admission is by ticket.

Please be sure to review the Flash with your student.  Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you on Monday.

“Make sure you have finished speaking before your audience has finished listening.”
-Dorothy Sarnoff

Congratulations to our seniors, who are finishing up their Senior Project Presentations today; we have been hearing wonderful things about them.

Tomorrow morning, Team Intertwingularity for Relay For Life are hosting a pancake breakfast. Tickets are $5 apiece.

During the pancake breakfast, thru-hiker Wendy Johnston will be sharing her presentation about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from start to finish. This is the same trail that Reese Witherspoon’s character hiked in the movie Wild; Wendy also hiked the Appalachian Trail. You do not need to buy a breakfast to attend the talk-we want as many people as we can get to hear this inspirational speaker.

Before Wendy takes the stage, our own Julie Tobin has a free story time. She is going to tell her own original story, “A Tale with a Tail,” and follow up with an activity inspired by the story. All ages welcome. You don’t want to miss this!

Be sure to keep an eye on the calendar for all the end of year activities, it’s going to be a busy two months!

Please send us your ideas for Summer Stories topics (see the Flash for details), and we hope some students and family members can join us on Wednesday to examine all the ideas put forth.

We hope you all have a great weekend (and that we see many of you here to support the Relay for Life Breakfast tomorrow), and we’ll see you all on Monday.

Sizer Now Accepting Online Meal/Fee Payments

The Sizer web site is now able to accept online meal and fee payments. Click the link at the bottom of this article to give it a try!

We hope this addition will provide a quick and simple option for our families to manage lunch account balances, sports fees, etc. Our new payment page uses a secure connection to PayPal to process your payment. A PayPal account is not required, though you will have the option of setting up an account as part of the process. The system accepts most major credit, debit and gift cards.

The payment page allows you to pay fees for up to three students per transaction. You also have the option of paying more than one type of fee for a student in a single transaction. In order to defray the cost of processing online payments we are charging a $1.00 online processing fee. We encourage you to minimize the effects of this fee by making more than one payment per transaction or by making a larger payment once, rather than several small payments. For example, if you have three students at Sizer, consider paying all three lunch balances in one transaction.

At this time, we don't have the ability to integrate online payments with our PowerSchool student information system. It's a goal for future development but for now it means that your student's fee balances cannot be displayed on the payment page. Students, parents and guardians can always check lunch balance information by logging into the PowerSchool Portal.
