Friday Flash December 12, 2014

“Optimism is essential to achievement and it is also the foundation of courage and true progress.”
-Nicholas Murray Butler

We hope you’re having an excellent Friday!

Congratulations to the Sizer Theatre Arts club for staging She Kills Monsters last weekend. We’ve heard nothing but rave reviews, and look forward to their next production.

Students had fun this week while they learned and participated in the national Hour of Code Week. You’ll read about technology all over the Flash this week, from the front page down to the weekly puzzle.

The boys’ basketball team had the honor of playing the first official game in our brand-spanking new gym yesterday. We have comfortable bleachers (as far as bleachers go) for you to come watch and support our teams. Check the Flash for the schedule, and keep an eye on the online calendar for updates.

Quick notes-check the Flash for details:

• Citrus orders are in
• The Captain America movie night has been rescheduled for after school next Thursday, December 18th.
• The online Sizer Store is open

More in the Flash-help your child get the most out of the Sizer community by going over the Flash with them. Have a great weekend, and we’ll back for more on Monday!
